Water Activities

The Cuyahoga River passes through the Village of Mantua with a takeout at mile 70.1 in Buchert Memorial Park, and a soon-to-be-opened takeout downriver about .7miles south. Mantua is perfect for a stopover on your own paddle trip, and there are several cayak and canoe rental facilities within a short driving distance tht also provide river trips.

LaDue Reservoir, about 6 miles north on Rt 44, is popular with paddlers, and a great fishing spot.
