Employee Handbook

The Village of Mantua Employee Handbook (see below) contains policies & procedures for all village employees and officers.

There have been several updates to the handbook since it was last published:

ORD 2026-01 Changes to Chapters 1, 2, and 3 (passed 3/17/2026)
ORD 2026-04 Changes to Chapters 4 and 5 (pending)
ORD 2025-43 Increase in employees' medical coverage, section 5.1A (passed 11/18/2025)
ORD 2024-57 Update employee status, sick leave and progressive discipline, sections 3.1.A(1), 3.1.A(2), 5.4.E (passed 1/21/2025)

The Processes Committee is reviewing all sections of the Handbook, and will be issuing an complete updated document sometime in 2026.
